J.P. Anderson Mail Filter Add-on for Pegasus Mail
Our filters work on more than just adding email addresses to block spam. When spammers change their fake email address it won't fool this filter and you don't have to spend hours adding your own rules...we do it for you! Try out the freeware below to see how it works. The freeware will not expire or stop working either.
This filter system is tested daily with an email account that receives between 10,000 and 20,000 spam messages per day! It sucessfully filters all but a few messages which are added to the list daily and sent out with our weekly/bi-weekly updates.
Our filter system includes:
- Intelligent filters that look at all aspects of spam including: Keywords, To-From, URL, Headers, Subject Line, Body and X-Mailer code that catches spam based on an accumulation of points plus absolute filters that are triggered by specific phrases and/or words
- DOS-Filter (Delete on server) that deletes most virus infected email right on your server so that you don't even have to waste your time downloading them or taking a chance that they might be opened. This includes the latest MyDoom virus and previous MS-Blaster virus. This is extremely useful if you are using a dial-up connection.
- Continuous evolving software (we update your filters so you don't have to spend time doing it). Most other filter systems require that you build your own filter list but we do this for you
- Whitelist/Blacklist that will always except or reject email based on the email address which gives you precise control
- 2 step setup for basic filtering
- Updates every 2 weeks or sooner
- Trial version Freeware so you can try before you buy
This will only be available for people using Pegasus 4.1 email or later which is a free email client.
If you would like to try our Freeware version you can download it here: Freeware.zip. The Freeware version only contains about 500 filters but will give you an idea of how the system works. The full version has over 10000 filters. Please note that the Freeware version has no technical support or updates. The DOS-Filter is only included in the full version.
