Practice Leader - Transportation

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Description:

Our Transportation group provides comprehensive planning, design, and engineering services for all phases of airports and aviation, bridge, rail, roadway, and transit projects. Responsibilities:

As People Center Practice Leader (PCPL) the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the People Center Managing Leader (PCML) and the Principals and Associate group. The PCPL is primarily responsible for the development of new opportunities and for the quality of design and technical services delivered by the Transportation group. The PCPL is responsible for "above the line" Practice issues, and has a secondary responsibility to support the PCML initiatives.

More specifically:
  • Build a strong design quality culture and teamwork,
  • Responsible for meeting organic growth objectives,
  • Develop and lead marketing and business development for PC,
  • Attract/grow and retain high quality staff,
  • Work with the Practice Area and Winnipeg's senior leadership team to create and nurture cross region/sector and "One Team' opportunities,
  • Coach, mentor, and develop future Leaders,
  • Represent SCL externally within the Manitoba market.
Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years professional experience and possess a thorough understanding of the Transportation design profession.

The PCPL must be an individual who has the personality, experience and ability to effectively lead, challenge, and inspire the leadership group and staff to work together cohesively as a team.

The PCPL must have established and strong relationships and be respected in the transportation communities and be able to enhance our Company's One Team Infinite Solutions principle.

All candidates will also be required to complete an Organizational Performance Profile (OPP).
